Hello and good day to whoever is reading this! Let's get to know each other. My name is Putry Nazar Shah. I'm 21 years old this year. I studied at UiTM Puncak Alam and enrolled in Bachelor of Science Education (Hons.) Mathematics. Currently, I’m a first-year student and in my second semester. I will face a long journey to finish my degree. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, face-to-face learning has shifted to online distance learning. Despite the fact that I am in semester 2, I have not yet visited my university. I'm incredibly interested in seeing how my university looks and wonder what is inside.I really miss physical class very much. But, it is okay! Studying at home is also quite fun because it is so comfortable. However, an internet connection is essential for online classes. When I have to deal with an inconsistent connection, it frightens me. Don't worry. I'm getting used to it now.
This site will be used by me to post my e-portfolio as required for the EDU 456- Innovative Technologies in Teaching and Learning course that I'm taking this semester. The EDU456 is a course that covers the definition, history, instructional design models, instructional theory, online tools, and technological integration of innovative technologies and their relationships to instructional technology. The course examines current instructional technology ideas as well as how the internet is fast affecting instruction at all levels of an organization. While technology is crucial, it should be used as a facilitator, with an emphasis on technology integration. It also looks at the content, design, and production of self-instructional resources that can be used in any setting. The material becomes more interesting as a result of technological advancements. It improves media literacy among students and teachers.
My personal expectations of this course are heavily similar to the learning outcomes. I think this course can assist me in creating more interesting educational material using the provided classroom technology tools based on the educational design structure. It can also help me improve my skills in using various software applications for educational purposes.I hope that I will be able to use many learning strategies to make class effective. I have to admit that even though I've been exposed to technology, I am unable to make effective use of innovative technologies in teaching and learning. I hope this course can guide and help me to become a better educator.
