WEEK 4 - WHAT IS "BookWidgets" & HOW DOES IT WORK?

BookWidgets is a learning platform that enables teachers to design interactive courses that are both enjoyable and engaging for use on tablets and PCs. Students can use any device electronic to use it.

There are approximately 40 activities on the platform, including quizzes, crosswords, worksheets, and other interactive instructional tools, among other things.

What I really enjoy about the system is that, once a job has been set by a teacher, the student can finish it and submit it to the teacher for evaluation. The assignment or test has already been graded by the time it reaches its destination. Because the teacher is away from home, this will allow us to save time.

The dashboard for teachers allows you to keep track of your student's progress in real-time and provide them with constructive criticism.

You have access to the platform and can download the results at any time and from any location.

How to get installed? 

This is really easy. All you need to do is follow this step.

Click on top at the right side “Add to Chrome”.

Step 3

Once you are done, you will see this icon appear on your Google window.

Step 4

Now, you only need to go to bookwidgets.com and then create an account.

Now you have added Google Chrome Extension and need to create your own classroom such as Google Classroom. After that, you can start creating

How to create your first BookWidgets activity as a task for students?

I will teach you how to create very simple activities

1. Go to BookWidgets and sign in to your account. 

   
   
   

2. Once you log in, you see the homepage. Go to the menu on the left side. Click on Widgets. 

   
   
   

3. After clicking Widgets you will be directed to a new page. Then, click “Create new project” button on the right side.

   
   
   

4. Now choose the type of activities that you would like to create. For example, I choose , Quiz.

   
   
   

5. Now click on “Add question”.

   
   
   

6. Choose the type question you want to add. I chos “Text multiple choice question”.

   
   
   

7. Now, create the question and possible answer.

   
   
   

8. Now you’re done! You can share with your students.
